This Moment- 4:13

Inspired by Soulemama- Every Friday she shares {this moment} - A Friday ritual. A single photo - no words - capturing a moment from the week. A simple, special, extraordinary moment. A moment I want to pause, savor and remember. Here is mine...

  3. Awh... this one just makes me sigh out loud... *sigh* I bet they are just the best of friends, aren't they? Are they waiting for someone to come home?

After a short break, we finally picked up another share from our CSA... http://sofiasideas.com/2012/04/13/this-moment-61/

    1. They both just like to watch the world go by. My son thinks they are best friends. The pup is still trying to figure out this little creature who invaded his home. But the photo reflects what I hope is a positive step forward :)

  4. Awh. I really love what you captured here. When my son Dhimas was born, our dog was just a year old, and a baby himself. They were just the absolute best of friends. I mean, and this sounds really gross, because it IS really gross, they would even eat together. My son would always try to eat out of the dog bowl with his buddy. lol They also made a "doggie door" (a giant hole in the screen door) together so that they could go in & out of the patio and hang out like your duo! How funny is that?

Anyway, they continued on that way, always together, until it seemed like Dhimas suddenly just became disinterested, around age 3. I recently asked him what happened to their relationship and why Coltrane (our boxer) stopped being his best friend. You want to know what he said? He shrugged his shoulders and said "We got the wii." and walked away.

How awful is that? It makes my heart sink every time I think about it. *sigh*
